Why can I only delete part of a screen of e-mails and not check delete on each from top to bottom

If you wanted to delete the whole list of emails from any folder, there is a tiny box button on the topmost portion of the folder. If you click this, it will also check ALL the other box button on the folder provided their are mails in that folder. After doing so, you can uncheck the box by clicking the box again on the specific email you wanted retained (whether read or unread). Clicking each email for deletion is time consuming as it will prompt you if you wanted it deleted or not.

Check the boxes you want deleted (as many as possible) and click the delete button and you would retain the unchecked boxes. Goodluck

You can only erase partial screens if you are in Forward mode.  Make the changes in Forward and then copy to a new e-mail addressed to you

you can delete all mail from a top button of the mozilla firefox mail or u can check off all the boxes u want to delete then hit a main delete button to do the boxes checked off
