Discuss riekerfit's answer to: Is aol email now free?

I am still paying $11.99 per month for aol email. Am I getting anything for it that isn't available for free?

what is different if I go to FREE AOL Mail?   I do not use tech support and have never dowloaded the AOL software.  I use AOL via Safari for my MAC.

If you have an ISP other than AOL, and you don't use tech support, then nothing would be different on the free plan.  Your email address would stay the same.
