Aol poor cs

Why are those of us with the 'free' AOL email prohibited from talking with a real CS person when we have questions? AND why does it take AOL CS so long to answers questions that have been asked?

For $6.99 per month you can get 24/7 technical support. When you sign on to AOL - at the top - Help - Manage my Account - Change my AOL Account -Click - I already have a high speed connection - Click - View Plans
