Using AOL Desktop Software

I have AOL desktop softrware on my computer because I used to be a paying member.  However, I switched over to the free internet AOL.  It seems that I can still receive email with my desktop software.  Is it OK to continue using this software as long as it works even though I am not paying?  The desktop software is easier to use.

Yes you can. I have been on Free AOL for several years now and I continue to use the desktop version. The email is much better than the AOL.com version. Whenever I see people complaining about the changes to the mail I always tell them to use the desktop version.
