why does AOL consistently fail to respond immediately after I am connected at sign on?I downloaded and reinstalled the software but the problem is still there.

By the way...when/if you have to open a new account...you'll have to have a credit card # or checking account # to open it...but as soon as you get in...go to My Account and change your account billing to FREE AOL.
