Why did AOL take away the boards? I no longer have a reason to visit AOL anymore and will cancel my account.

I just don't see why you are worried about writing "stories" that absolutely no one ever read or cares about. I honestly don't think anyone will remember any of your stories, or even you, once the boards are gone, and they are gone now. I truly don't see how you or your stories will be missed.
