AOL Answers rules and regulations:

1. The "N" word is not allowed.

2. Slang for gay, like the "F" word is not allowed.

3. Simply posting "Bwaaaaaahaha" is not allowed.

4. Posting a reply to a few "protected posters" is not allowed.

5. Posting anti semitic, hateful, derogatory insults is not only allowed, but encouraged. And replying to the bigot with a dose of their own medicine is not allowed. So not only do Jewish posters have to be subjected to hate, but they are not allowed to defend themselves. AOL has proven time and time again that they do not follow their own Terms Of Service, that they are hypocrites when dealing with bigotry and that they view Jews as something less than human. The Gestapo lives at AOL and they are not bashful about letting us know. Just DISGUSTING!!!!

And when this post is removed by the cover up artists at AOL, it will be reposted again and again until something changes with these disgusting hypocrites.

Interesting...AOL answers has a lot of spam, I don't think there is any turning back.

Spam isn't hateful it's just annoying.

But when AOL removes a post that simply says "bwaaaaaaaaahaha" but allows a post to remain that uses words like "heeb" and celebrates the murder of innocent Jewish children there is something very wrong with their priorities. Only really hard core anti semitic pieces of garbage would allow such hatred to appear on their website. Apparently AOL stands for Aryans On Line. Anyone at AOL have any morals? Didn't think so.

AOL is out to make money and they don't care how they do it. Controversy gets attention and attention means views and views mean customers and customers spend money and that means advertisers.

AOL sucks.

Here's what I know about the good people at AOL: Even on the old message boards they played the same juvenile games. There were certain people who were protected and could post anything they wanted while others had their accounts suspended for trivial BS. But one constant remains. You can post any anti semitic garbage you want, like laughing at little kids being blown up, and AOL will not ever punish the author or even remove the post.

Let's pretend there was an explosion in a church and a bunch of little kids were killed and someone made a post on here laughing about it and saying those children deserved it. That post would be removed within minutes, unlike the anti semitic post which still remains to this day.

If you are a God fearing human being, Jewish or not, you should be outraged at the Nazi like policies of AOL.

We used to be able to post things like this, too.  That also seems to be against the new rules.  My first attempt vanished into thin air.  I wonder how long this one will last?  See comment.

I don't know anything about people being treated differently or allowed to say stuff other people can't say but I know there's too much spam and too many slurs and cuss words and people are allowed to make personal attacks on other people without anything being done about it.

I think people should be allowed to have their own beliefs and views but I agree with that saying about how "Your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins." I think AOL should have moderators that read the posts and take down ones that are offensive or spam or personal attacks.

If you can't explain your own views without attacking somebody with opposing views then maybe you don't belong on a site that's open to everybody.

Dear Friends;

I had the resources I think I could do something about their idiocy. I have even talked to a couple of them on the phone, and all I really got for my trouble was for the person to try and sell me something.

I am on the Best Religion thread posting a series on Judaism, as my response to the anti-Semitic garbage it posts about Jews, Judaism and the G-d we worship (It has called G-d "Satan" twice.) I do not know how many read the material, but at least I am doing more than feeling sorry for myself, while I take care of my other affairs. AOLA has failed the test of competence several times, so I do not  worry about them, just happy there are decent people here for me to communicate, learn and relate to. Thank you.

Shalom;

Yechiel

Great idea !.  I suggest that we write a petition, get as many signitures we can and send it to AOL.  I am sure they'll adopt it.
