Aol 10.1 blank screen on startup

Hi, I recently installed 10.1 to try and fix a problem my wife was having with her account (contacts were messy), but when she tries to open AOL using her computer account, AOL opens to about 1/4 the screen size and does not display the sign-on, etc, just a non-working UI. Using my computer account, she was able to get into her AOL account, and all worked well for a few days.  Now the SAME THING is happening on my computer account, and I have no clue what is going on. I've removed and re-installed AOL multiple times now to no avail.  I'm using Windows XP, and I meet all system requirements.  AOL now is also popping up immediately after I log in.
