Schappement Ancre - I have a very old pocket watch. Attached to the top is a chain and key. Open the back and there are two places to wind the watch with the key. Inside the back is a script engraving "Schappement Ancre" and below, "15 Rubis". The inside back cover has the numbers "50337" and a LP in a circle with 5 ib ibe sude & 8 on the other. The outside of the back cover is engraved with what appears to be a village. The face has roman numerals with small arabic numbers along the outside border. At the bottom is a second had dial.
You have an old keywind swiss pocket watch. "15 RUBIS" means the movement has 15 jewels. I do not generally collect swiss watches. There are collectors on the NAWCC (National Association of Watch And Clock Collectors) website that may be able to give you more info on your watch. Try there message board. A photo of the movement and all markings on the watch and the case is also helpful. Go to NAWCC.org . I believe the message board is open to non members.
