i have a bowl its green and goal the handle is a symbol of the wailing wall a picture of 2 men hitten a wall under it it says wailing wall arond the rim is beutiful detail in gold of birds flowers and some kind of animal like a fox the bottom is greengold with legs made like trees is it a antique
First of all, it depends what kind of green glass it is. Is it clear green glass that you can see through or is like a milky green jade glass that you can't see through?
Next, are you sure it is the wailing wall that is depicted? If you are sure of this, then it was probably made in Israel. If it was made in Israel it will be very difficult to trace as the craftsman were also the business man and no 2 pieces of work would be alike.
If you are not sure about wailing wall, it could also be the Great Wall of China that is depicted. Many Chinese bowls have legs on them and also use animals to mean many things such as in the Chinese calendar. Also in this case, tracing the origin to a specific manufacturer would be slim unless somewhere on the item is a manufacturing logo or emblem or a company name.
In either case, the glass itself is probably antique, but would be more an item of remembrance and worth more personally than it would be to an antique dealer.
Hope my answer helped you in some way.
Nothing less than 100 years old is antique. What you have may be "vintage" or "collectible" and in either case has a limited audience
Linda i would need you to look on the bottom of the item and let me know who its made by and any numbers or any other marks that may be there. Also what condition it is in.If and when you send this information back i will try and find out your info for you
