Discuss Bill Compton's answer to: Ancienteggssolid rock fossil eggs from la.

Congratulations on your find.

It is not a particularly rare find, however, as clutches of dinosaur eggs appear virtually all over the planet.  It is still worth submitting your photos to LSU Department of Palentology for their appraisal.  If it turns out that you have discovered a species of dinosaur not previously thought to roam the area, then your discovery could be more important than you may have thought.

Please do not excavate the find!  The excavation procedure is long and exacting, and no two sites are the same.

Once again, congratulations on your find!

Rocmike do you have any kind of life so far I have seen 16 hours of posting under Bill, Melvin, Mike Dudley, Anonymous, Ladydarko. You life is so sad and pathetic that you go to old questions and answers no one has been on in week, months and even years. You must not be able to leave where ever you are at because you have been doing this every single day for years. GET A LIFE.
