Can Amy Winehouse ever overcome addiction?

Amy Winehouse was apparently drunk or on drugs again in a disastrous performance in Belgrade.  Is there no hope for her?  (I think it's possible to turn your life around ... Robert Downey Jr. made a comeback after years of drug abuse.  But is it too late for Amy?)

I don't wish to be argumentative ,but I disagree with the Islamic belief that I should be killed! " If radical atheists decided they needed to kill believers to ensure their place in nothingness, I'd be criticizing that too."

Aww American Patriot... thats kinda harsh no?

I dunno.. a lot of these celebreties have drug issues and its SO magnified BECAUSE they are in the main light. If they were any "regular Joe" we'd NEVER hear about it. But because they are and we listen to their music or see their movies, we talk about them, we kind of live thru them. We give them a hard time for their wrong doings and get frustrated when they dont do things as fast as WE think they should.

I guess my point is hopefully they will get their lives back on track. The media only makes matters worse.

I may not like her music but I can certainly share her pain.

It's really not that easy.  The celebrity lifestyle is a very "fast" one.  She has access to more drugs than the average person.  If she finally really wants to stop, then she will, but it's up to her.  Drugs are really not that easy to give up.  It's mind over matter.
