You are correct, most ventriloquists could not maintain their star status. There were very few exceptions such as Edgar Bergen with his doll, Charlie McCarthy and Howdy Doody who was geared for children. Both had their own shows so their material never became stale. If Terry Fator does this he too can become a star.

Terry Fator is a unique act and he's what America is hungry for, something different! He's great and he does what he does like no one else. I just wish I could have seen more of him! I watched the marathon of America'a Got Talent and I only got to see one minute of his act! Not fair!! Why didn't they just show more of him and less of the other crap?

What he needs now is a good booking agent. I would love to see him host his own HBO special or something like that.

I think the change clothes talents are best among the rest.  They are partners and all I can say is "wow.. how did they do that?"  It was like magic but I think there is something behind it.. but they really did great at the front of the audience.. I was wondering why they did not let those couple win.. =(
