what would it be like at age 60 to uproot me and husband in ct and move to la-have lived there a long time ago-was in big earthquake-have friends and relatives there.

If you feel negative about the move, then it will be very upsetting at first. However, there can be many positive things about such a move.

Once there again, if your attitude is good, you can begin to discover all over again, the beauty you found there before.

On the other hand, if you continue thinking negatively, things may not go so well for you at all and you'll want to, and maybe need to, move back to CT. It really is all in the attitude I think.
