How to get affection?

My husband shows no affection, unless we are having sex. I need affection other than sex. What can I do?

Have you talked to your husband about how you feel? The best thing that you can do is let him know how you are feeling. You want to be careful not to make it seem like you feel neglected and that it's his fault. Tell him that you miss what you once have and make it about how much you love him and want to express your love to him. It takes two to tango, so make sure to take some responsibility for the lack of intimacy and ask him if you can work on it together, as a couple. Good luck.

After talking it over like advised you two might want to try doing some stuff you did in your past like when you first dated that might help get a bit of the romance back.

You need to be upfront and honest with your husband. It's the only way to achieve a change. Just be sure to tell him in a non-aggresive way so he doesn't feel like you're attacking him or trying to start a fight.

A healthy relationship starts with trust and honesty and a big warm genuine smile.
