Simply by being brave and telling her the truth (that you don't want any connections with her).   Prepare yourself (pick the right words) in advance and do it.

OronD is right you need to make it clear that you no longer want this relationship to continue... But when you say affair... are you married? If that is the case... you will definately have to tell your wife... Honesty is the best policy...

I told my wife she knows everything - but the thorn in our side, is mean, and trying to destroy us.  I told her she was just a sex fling, no love, and she is still coming on strong, she won't give up.  Its been 6 months and she is still trying to break us up.  Our love is strong, and she won't win.  My beautiful wife, don't deserve any of this, however, she is standing by my side.  Sometimes I think moving from our city is the best thing to do, but we can't sell our house.

Hi Broken Heart,

   This other woman does not have power over you.  You made it clear to her that the relationship with her is over.  If she bothers you more, get a restraining order.  Change your phone number and  get another e-mail address.

    Did you watch the movie Fatal Attraction?  I just hope that this won't end up that way, God forbid.
