It is the same in Colorado.  We have Black and Grizzly bears here, they like the backwoods and streams but people keep building in bear country.  These aren't people who know nature.  These bozos are city people who have only seen bears in the zoo and think they are like Gentle Ben.

Then the city clown leaves his garbage out for several days like he did in Denver or Arvada, and this is Vail, people.  Brer Bear shreds the can to get at the chicken bones the city slicker should have run down the disposal and smells the bacon drippings dimbulb left in paper towels.  Nothing attracts a bear from further away or faster than meat smells.

Then old stupid takes his camera out in the front yard to snap a picture of the bear and a minute later the chump is Brer Bear's lunch.

City little wifey then goes bonkers and starts manipulating people to kill off the bears before the bears get to her children.  How many times will we see that before the whole nation pukes?  That was a real live Grizzly, people.  It wasn't a Teddy Bear.

If you want to live out here think like a mountain man.  Know what you are up against and get that city crap out of your head.  If you want to be natural, know that nature is always kill or be killed.
