How can I make a stinger to heat water to boiling, I know its by using an electrical cord and spoons or metal of somesort, but how do you hook it up.

Water boiler tank an automatic pressure release valve

I recently installed a new tank and the plumber who did the job attached an external safety valve, which supposed to release extra pressure in case of thermostat malfunction. As I understood, this kind of valve is a standard today, so I doubt if there are any tanks with internal valve.
