Looking for 60's era Forgotton Song...good 60's memory needed !!!

Help  Me !!! Looking for the title and group of a Los Angeles Radio-aired song pertaining to Earthquakes... Shhh...Y'know what they say...LA...the whole place shakin away... Where can You go when there's no San Francisco...blah blah blah...deport to Idaho...!?   (I must have been about 3-4 years old) Seems like the song had a reggae or ska-like flavor to it.

No one I know can remember much more than that. CAN YOU ?!   Janet 4 the Planet

In the spring of 1969 a group called Shango released "Day After Day (It's Slippin" Away". I remember it pretty well. I was a kid growing up in Southern California in fear of "the big one".
