2t should mean the abbreviation of teaspoon.

Oh yes, I agree with that. When I cook I always read it that a little 't' means teaspoon and a big 'T' means tablespoon. If your recipe says 2t then you must put in 2 teaspoons of your ingredient, just be sure you use special measuring spoons and not the ones you use for your coffee. I hope your recipe turns out just right!
