Only when We The People of the United States take the bull by the horns and say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !" and go to the polls and vote the correct person in office, then, and only then will we truly have a great country. But, it will NEVER happen because Democrats always vote for the Democratic candidate eventhough THEY KNOW that he NOR she will NEVER represent them because he AND she is bought and owned by the special interests. Republicans always vote for the Republican candidate eventhough THEY KNOW that he NOR she will NEVER represent them because he AND she is bought and owned by the special interests. Why remain faithful to a party that could not care less about you and your family. Go with a third party or a candidate that has no party affiliation, and no backing by the special interests. That was what I did in the Presidential election. Why should I throw my vote away on Obama or McCain? Neither are qualified. It's like asking which is the lesser of two evils. So, I voted for a third candidate who has no ties to any party nor any special interest. While I still fret and worry about what my government is doing to us Americans, I can at least have a clear conscience in knowing that I did not vote for that crooked government.

Quite a dilemma isn't it?

The only problem is, people will continue to side with one or the other and you have to go with the party that best fits your lifestyle, or your vote is wasted on a candidate that doesn't have a chance.

That is what I am trying to get at. If every voting American were to say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" and NOT vote Democrat AND NOT vote Republican, but instead vote a different candidate then the Republicans AND Democrats will have no votes and the winner will be a third candidate. If something is working you do nothing, but if something is not working you either get it fixed or get rid of it if it is not fixable. Right?

If We The People of the United States of America truly want leaders that will represent them AND leaders that will not be an embarrassement to America and it's people, then We The People of the United States are going to have to make it happen. Simply casting your vote for a party that you know will not represent you but you vote for them anyways because: "well grampa was a fill in the blank , my parents were fill in the blank , so I might as well carry on the family tradition. Afterall, I'll never hear the end of it. Maybe the fill in the blank will be different this year." In the 1770's, the Colonists had had enough of George. They sat on their hands for so long and life kept getting worse and worse and worse. Finally they had enough. I am NOT talking about a Revolution that involves weapons. NO! What I am talking about is a voting revolution where every American goes to the polls and votes for whichever candidate that is NOT Democrat AND NOT Republican. It will be the Second American Revolution through Vote. It is the quickest way to clean up our government.

We can begin in November by voting some of the clowns out. Hopefully enough people will have enough sense to to investigate the people they vote for themselves instead of following the crowd again.

In the same way that Obama was picked as the best gun salesman for 2009, he can be the best catalyst for a new party in 2010 and 2012. Can you think of a better reason for a new party to form other then Barak Obama and the gutless Republican party?

AW, for YEARS (feels like centuries) I have been promoting the use of Computers for voting at the State Level giving Un-Deniable Directions as to how the People want their Representatives to Vote in Congress. That coupled with Jail Terms for Contrary Voting would turn this country around overnight!!! There is NO REASON under the Stars Not to do this!!! The Issues can be posted on Ur State Web Site for a month & then the vote taken. But that is "Foolproof" & there would be nothing in it for the Crooks!!! John

While a 3rd party candidate may soothe your conscience, it's not going to do anything to help the country or solve any of the systemic problems with the Democratic or Republican Parties. Although I'm a proud member of a Tea Party Group, I have no illusions that we could mount a winnable campaign this year or even in 2012, and the reason(s) are: Money, Money and Money! The fact is that the Democrats and the Republicans can out spend us, out-man us and would all but shut us out of any meaningful mass media advertising. If the Tea Parties did actually mount a 3rd Party campaign, you would hear my voice loud and clear...NO! NO! NO! Name a 3rd party candidate (other than Independents) that's actually won a State-wide or National Election? The answer is NONE!

So what's the solution? We start "infiltrating" the two established parties and change them from the inside! Now, having said that, I wouldn't waste my time with the Democrats, because they're so hopelessly Radical that it would take at least a generation to change them. Instead, we become active in the Republican Party. For the most part, the Republican values of Limited Government, Strong National Defense, upholding the Constitution and support of Free Markets are the same values of the Tea Parties, only the Tea Parties actually mean it!

How do we do it? You find out where your local Republican Committee meets and you become active in it. If there's a position open on the committee, run for it or get "chummy" with the Local Committee Chairman and get appointed to one of the positions. Impossible? Difficult? Yes and maybe. I'm in the running (I'll more than likely get it) for one of the two appointed positions on my Local Republican Committee. All I did was make contact with the Chairman of the Committee, told him who I was and what I wanted to do and he asked me if I would be interested in being appointed to the committee. Now, every third Monday of the month, yours truly will be part of the decision making process for the Republican Party and you can bet that I'm going to be a pain to anyone on that committee that's satisfied with the status quo!

I'm not interested in Republican candidates at any level that want to "get along with the Democrats"! Work with them and do every thing possible to change their way of thinking, yes! Go along with them when you know that their way is not good for your community, county, State or the Nation? No! I want my candidates, if they're elected to what ever position they win, to stand up to the Democrats every time they want to raise taxes, spend on stupid projects or add "pork" to otherwise vote-worthy projects. That, in my humble opinion is how we take back this great country of OURS!
