#2 cylinder not firing right if at all honda 750 magna

On my Honda 750 Magna i have one header on the #2 cyl. that doesn't get hot like the others. I also know its not firing. What causes this? I already checked out the spark and its good there. Would it be a sync problem if for some reason this carb isn't synced to the others? It does seem to have good power when i go past 20-30 mph but runs rough at idle. Whats your take on this and please be more than vague or a one liner. I need your help and i hope you can give me some ideas on this problem. Thanks in advance! -rudy
