This rifle was made by Page-Lewis in the late 20's and early 30's. It was an inexpensive rifle that sold at that time for about $10. I don't know how many were made but there is very little supply of replacement parts. Numerich Gun Parts (the largest gun part supplier in the US) lists only a replacement barrel for this rifle. You might search the web from time to time for someone selling a used one that can be bought as a donor gun. Good luck!

Sorry, I misspelled Numrich Gun Parts. Also when you search for your rifle, used both names, Springfield Arms and also Page-Lewis. Someone once told me that Savage made a model 50 .22 cal. rifle that was identical to yours. I don't know this for sure.
