No doubt about it, the hottest man alive is one who works with thehottest things on the planet: Dr. Hsing Wang, at Oak Ridge National Laboratories.

Movie stars and such generally run at temperatures about 98.6 degrees F.  White hot metal might be 3,200 degrees F.  Wang works at 127,000 degrees F and well above that -- and that is the unclassified report!

As to 98.6 degrees tepid starlets, man that's ice cold.
