2002 camry toyota wireless remote control does not ...

2002 camry toyota wireless remote control does not work. My alarm system goes off and i am not able to disalarm it with the rmote control and i am not able to turn on the car. Can some one help me with this?

In my opinion it is a design flaw of the Camry security system, but the system assumes that if you have locked the car via remote, you're going to unlock it with the same remote, so as a result if you open it with a key the system assumes you have broken in! That is poor design and a real pain, but unfortunately you're probably stuck.

You probably will need to take it to the dealer.

I found this question while trying to research what wireless entry system the 2002 camry uses, but so far I have been unable to determine if it transmits a "static" RF code or a "rolling" code, but my guess is rolling.

Typically in a rolling code the remote control receives a new code after each successful button press, so if you replace the battery it may reset the code requiring the thing to be reprogrammed.
