I have a 2002 Ford F250 truck with fly 4 wheel drive.  The problem is that it will go into 4 wheel drive but will not release when you turn the switch to  2 wheel drive.  It blows a fuse.  I changed out the motor on the transfer case, but still have the problem.  I can take the motor off the transfer case and manually put it back in 2 wheel drive.  Could the switch be bad?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Could be the switch or a faulty wiring.

Believe it or not, a bad radiator cap can cause that problem. Another thing you might want to check on. Once in a while a frost plug will develop a leak, especially in an older engine. There is a sensor, but I'm not sure just where it is. If you're sure the leak is on the passenger side, on ...
