Discuss Bonestructure's answer to: Why is my 1981 corvette burning too much fuel after i put headers

You need to get it tuned to account for the headers. The headers drop the back pressure down a lot, and that changes the way everything works.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
