I am 19 with a 4 year old...I was told earlier this week that by allowing my son to sleep with me and kissing him on the cheek is turning him into a pervert/freak. Is that true?

No. He is a bit old to still be sleeping with you, but about the only result this practice will have is that he knows his mom loves him.
