I received a text message stating that i won a $1,000 free gift card. Is this true and is it a scam? If it's true where should I claim it? Please answer promptly. I'll be waiting for the answer. Luis
The fact that you don't already know the answer to your question is exactly what these scammers bank on. They know that either ignorance or greed guarantees that a certain percentage of people will always be available to be fleeced.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

This poster has a name and a profile. S/he is called Anonymous Commentator. You can click on his/her name and go to his/her profile page. This way you can tell who you are speaking with and whose answers you are reading. The ones who use the generic term are all lumped together and it is confusing. This person agreed and fixed themselves a name and a profile. This person is not hiding like the other ones.
I can give you this answer for free. As soon as you send me $59.99 for S/H, I will have the answer in the mail to you.
