A total idiotnovice to comp's, when they were DOS I was a master. I just can't seem to grasp what I need for our business and home. To me things are sooo complicated. ? McAfee or Norton. I had a really bad crash with Norton about 4 years ago and haven't yet seen to have a problem with Mc BUT I had to put a patch in because my computer and files kept becoming unprotected and everything has been fine till yesterday and it had started again, ugh. Then I either spend hours reading or on the phone trying to fix the issue! Any suggustions before I hook up my new Dell (oh God VISTA "Inspirion" 530, it was a gift from my father-in-law, I wanted to purchase a laptop, wireless so I can take my eork on the road w. me, hey maybe too some one could rec. a simple laptop I could pop a flash drive in from my tower to a laptop? I have a home based Heavy Equipment kinda construction, we deal with everthing from demo's to grading to snow plowing but our love is Marine construction. Need to find an easy program for doing business proposals, yes I use quickbooks yell just learning to. That is a s short besides my sun in 10th grade w/ a 3.88 GPA uses our comp for acrh/drafting, photography, science projects and pre- calcu and reg homework and the 7 yr. old need it to for French and math class along with DI and other projects and I'm on Verizon fios.
