About Dr. Mordechai Aviam:

I was for 11 years the District Archaeologist of the Western Galilee for the Israel Antiquities Authority. I am now an adjunct professor in residence at the Center for Judaic Studies in the University of Rochester.

I'm also the director of the Institute for Galilean Archaeology and the author of the book "Jews, Pagans and Christians in the Galilee".
