I am a registored voter since april 1961, who never missed an oppertunity to cast a vote . I strongly feel that my vote should count in the community level more so than any other level because thats where I live. In 1995 a proposel for the construction of the new world mall was presented to our community and voted down by a 2/3 majority and a protest at the zoning board annd a petition with about a hundred names on it was never submited I am one very angry senior citizen who is being slowly murdered by the filth generated by the slop shops in the new world mall. I almost died when my basement was flooded.
If grief, sickness , property damage and death are commodities to be coveted then we at the 7nth and washington ave. South Philadelphia neighborhood are truely blessed.
If they were to take a pole to see who runs the fithiest commercial establishment in South Philadelphia The new world Mall would get my vote no questions asked.
