Oh, yeah. Just to be sure, all motors have a nameplate on them. Check your's to see if it says 120V 60 Hz like I'd suspect, but maybe it could say 120/240 V, or maybe 50/60 cycle.

When to water and plant
Do they have leaves on them? If they were cold and dormant, I wouldn't water them, but if they're growing, I would. And I wouldn't plant them until other things are growing outside.
