About Mentor: I have owned and operated my own companies for 35 years starting at the age of 17. My first company became one of the largest limousine and airport shuttle van companies in Southern California with 12 stretched limos, 42 airport vans and over 138 employees. I catered to movie stars, recording artists and corporate executives. Due to a bitter divorce the company was sold off.
Soon after, I sarted a photography studio that specialized in weddings, portraits and special events. Within 5 years it became one of the largest independent studios in the nation as ranked by Kodak. We averaged 300 weddings per year with 9 full time photographers and I have taken pictures of the late Geroge Burns, Ringo Star, Heather Locklear, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Tony Bennett, John Stamos, Farrah Fawcett, Tommy Lasorda, Tiffany Amber Thiessen and many more.
With the success of these companies I was able to afford two Rolls Royce Silver Clouds, a Bentley S3, a BMW 750i, a three story beach condo in San Clemente, California, a Formula Offshore boat, a 6500 sq ft custom English Tudor home with a private runway in the wine country of Temecula, California and most recently a 85 foot houseboat with 6 bedrooms and 5 lake properties on Kentucky Lake.
In 2001 one of my sons was in a motorcross accident and suffered permanent brain damage, my life changed forever. I decided my new goal in life was to help people looking to start their own business and take control of their life. To help people tired of living paycheck to paycheck, trading their time for money and just knowing there had to be something better out there. Why you ask yourself am I doing this? It's my way of paying back for my son's life, by all accounts he should not be with us today.
Anyone can take control of their finances, their life and their future if you just change the way you think. We all have been affected by the cancer that has swept our nation called a "job". As long as you are in debt, living paycheck to paycheck you will not be happy. It will affect your relationship and if you have children it will affect them as well. If you just think out of the box there is a better way.
Most people are afraid to jump out of the boat (their comfort zone). This is why 5% of the people control 95% of the wealth in our country today. You do not need a college degree, large amounts of money, high IQ or any experience to take your life back, just a dream will do.
