It has to do with the security settings of your browser - or your "outlook express" - which block local attachments. Try to change them according to microsoft guidelines .

It might have happened due to a game download. Try to uninstall some of the recent games you downloaded recently and see if the problem is solved.

After saving the file as a regular Access file, you can "export" it (through "File" menu) to several other formats: Excel, HTML, Lotus, XML, ODBC, and others.
