Let's say that I don't use it as much as I would like to because it is an awesome tool to promote sites. I use it around 30-40% of all tools. That is the number I go with, in general.

I do but frankly I'm very lazy and can't do this a lot. I get annoyed pretty fast and give up on the whole idea. I bow to the people that have the will power to do it.

I think that besides WordPress, which is excellent in this regard, all other CMS platforms are also keeping up with this standard as much as they can.

Most of the people I know don't have the patience to produce enough content and investigate in order to achieve success in this field. So yeah, I think patience is definitely a wanted feature.

Who knows what goes and what doesn't. But we are all witnessing today that many popular businesses publish videos like crazy so I guess there is a certain truth to it.
