About The Johnson Team - Rich Johnson:

Grandview Washington is my home town.  My Mom & Dad owned a drug store there that was where my sis & I spent the majority of our time.  This was one an old fashioned drug store not anaything loke you'd walk into today.;  It had a soda fountain where you could order anything from a lime phosphate to a chocolate malt,l my dad prepared his own tinctures, there was distilled water that was continually being processed & bottled & any percsription that you'd buy was made by my Dad.  The pharmacy was located at the corner of Division & Main - it does not get any more downtown than that.

I graduated from high school in 1962, joined the Marine Corps for a 3 year enlistment.  I served in san Diego for a year & then 2 years in Japan.

When I was discharged, I entered the University of Washington & graduated with a degree in International Business & a minor in japanese language studies.  My wife Lylene & I were married in our Sophmore year at the University & just celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary.

We have had many lives wearing many different hats to include Corporate Manager, Middle School Teacher, Grocer, Baker, Contractor & finally for the last 20 years Realtor.

We have 2 wonderful sons.  The youngest, Graham, has worked with us in our real estate business for the past 5 years & our oldest son, Chandler is soon to granduate from Stanford University with a PhD.

Lylene & I enjoy boating, hiking, reading - she particularly enjoys gardening while I try to find excuses to avoid it - sometimes with success sometimes not.

My youngest son & I are currently in the process of restoring a 1969 Firebird convertable that Lylene I bought.  In fact we ordered it from the factory in the winter on 1969.  It's currently torn completely apart & the body & frame taken to the sandblaster.  Anyone out there who has experience in restoration of Firebirds? We'd love to talk to you.
