Not sure about normal crosswords... But TLS Brain Training generates unlimited codewords puzzles...

Answered: Are there any good "brain training" applications ...

My favourite is TLS Brain Training . I think the PC is better than the DS for puzzles anyway, and that's the best one I've found.
