I'm not sure I understand your question, but I think the first one is the right one. I'm not familiar with the term "weighted percentages", but the second method just doesn't seem to be weighted...

I was close: it was that great 1999 season that Stewart Racing had, but Herbert won 2 races before, in Benetton. The answer in Rubens Barrichello.
