I get mail from dizzie nizzie, that's all nothing else. Settings will not take a "block" when it has a space. What do I do?

How do I get pictures embedded in e-mail to open. All there is , is a box with some kind of symbol. This just started when I had my ram increased. I use XP and Firefox.
